Horizontal Lens Mount with 3 axes of Movement

The Horizontal Lens Mount by Ultramacro is the latest release in a series of products aimed at giving users of high magnification optics fine control over their lens and specimen positioning.  This makes the whole process of obtaining high quality images at high magnifications quicker and easier.

This system comprises of a 50mm diameter lens clamp which is mounted onto a rack and pinion which is controlled by a knob.  Turning the knob moves the lens mount vertically through 42mm of travel.  The lens is then pointing at an XY stage which can be very easily and very accurately moved in both axes using the drop-sided coaxial control knobs.  In this set up the 'Y' axis effectively becomes the focus axis.  The XY stage has vernier scales on both axes.

The system is ideally suited for use with the ultraVU-MTPro or ultraVU-EL high magnification zoom lenses.  Please note that the working distance of the optics used can be no smaller than about 70mm.
